LEAVE OF ABSENCE (LOA) POLICY
TO APPLY FOR LOA
1. Fill up the form in the #leave-of-absence channel under Employee Support
2. LOA should be requested 24 hours in advance.
3. Once submitted, it will be reviewed by DOLE. Wait for verification.
4. Employees who are still under observation are required to work 7 shifts before filing a LOA with a maximum of 15 days of leave.
FILING OF LOA RULES
1. Only minimum of 7 days leave is allowed to file for a LOA for IC.
2. Only minimum of 10 days leave is allowed to file for a LOA for NON-IC.
3. Follow the proper format for LOA. See proper format on pinned post.
4. If the return date is not assigned, an assumed 15 days length of absence ONLY, will be logged as excused.
5. After filing a return from LOA, an employee must work at least 2 shifts before applying for leave again. An employee can file an extended leave if the reason is VALID. See Extended LOA for the list of valid reasons.
6. Returnees must file a return log, otherwise, they will not be considered as active workers. Hence, they are not entitled for pay and/or promotion.
7. Cancellation of LOA is allowed 12 hours after the leave has been approved, with/without approval
8. Cancellation of LOA is allowed within ONE HOUR only after filing, with/without approval.
9. You cannot return to work/duty in less than 3 days after your approved LOA.
REMINDERS ONCE YOUR LOA IS APPROVED
1. When on LOA, employee should add [LOA] at the end of their motto and request LOA badge. Once accepted, wear the LOA badge.
2. LOA can be revoked if you are seen frequently active within the base.
3. Employees under LOA should not leave their badges.
4. Once you left, you cannot get back to the previous rank.
ALLOWED DURING LOA
- Fill stations if there are only few active employees or there are available seats.
- Transfer and sell ranks.
NOT ALLOWED DURING LOA
- Collect daily pay
- Earn or give promotions
- Win WOTW/iCOTW

3. Mental and physical health problems,
4. Private life
5.Emergency
Employees under LOA are still expected to abide by the general Rules and Regulations of Habbo Malacañang.
They are strictly being observed. Failure to comply will result to demotion.
Employees under LOA can request for an extension if they can’t report back after 15 days.

RETURN FROM LOA
Those who wish to return to work earlier than your return date, please make sure it is not less than 3 days after your approved LOA.
2. Returnees MUST file a return log at least 2 hours before pay times if they want to be included in the pay, otherwise, they will NOT be considered as active workers nor will be eligible for pay.
Note:
- If a non iC employee who filed a LOA didn't return on his/her return date, 3 days grace period will be given to report at base and file a return log.
- If an iC employee who filed a LOA didn't return on his/her return date, 2 days grace period will be given to report at base and file a return log.
Failure to comply will result to demotion.

AWOL POLICY
CL1-CL3 can have AWOL for a maximum of 10 days leave only;
CL4-CL6 can have AWOL for a maximum of 8 days leave only, and;
iC officers can have AWOL for a maximum of 6 days only .
All employees, from non-iC to iC who have absences are required to work 2 shifts (either 2 shifts in one day or 2 shifts for 2 consecutive days, 1 shift each day) for their absences to be removed.
Returning employees are expected to fill out the format for AWOL concern underpinned post

iC officers can have AWOL for a maximum of 6 days only .

REINSTATEMENT POLICY
A previous employee can be reinstated if he/she has a record of the following:
Absence without leave (AWOL)
Resignation
Left or Transferred
Fired
An employee will be reinstated according to their recent record in the DOLE filings, logs or sheets.
Absence without leave (AWOL)
- Members who have been removed due to inactivity are allowed to return depending on how long they have become AWOL.
- Members will receive a 1 division demotion if they have become AWOL for less than 20 days.
- If they have become AWOL for less than 36 days, they will receive 2 division demotions.
- While being AWOL for a span of more than 36 days will result in starting off as Clerk/Trainee.
Resignation
- Members who wish to return and resign once are subjected to 2 division demotions. While resigning twice will result in the employee starting off as a clerk again.
Left or Transferred
- Members who have worked at HM before are allowed to return with demotions and can only return for a maximum of 3 times.
- If a previous member returns once, they will be subjected to 2 divisions demotion.
- If a previous member returns twice, they will be subjected to 4 division demotions.
- If a previous employee left or transferred thrice he/she would need to go back as clerk
Fired
- Employees who have been fired are not allowed to be reinstated unless a verdict has been given by a judge in the Court of Appeals (rare cases).
- Otherwise, fired employees are not allowed to be reinstated and should start off as a trainee again
